Working with others

Reading Maternity Voices work regularly with other Maternity Voices groups from our region, the Thames Valley. Here is a quarterly networking meeting sharing good practice and collating women’s feedback.

We are involved in the development of the network National Maternity Voices.

In this BMJ article from Florence Wilcock, Reading Maternity Forum is cited as an example of one of our most successful MSLCs.  Florence Wilcock is a consultant obstetrician at Kingston Hospital with an interest in intrapartum care and improving maternity experience. She is chair of the London Maternity Strategic Clinical Network user experience subgroup and co-founder of #MatExp, a grassroots movement aimed at improving maternity experience for families and the staff who care for them. She can be found on twitter @FWmaternitykhft

Lisa, Reading Maternity Voices current chair is representing MSLCs/Maternity Voices Partnerships on the NHS England’s Better Births Stakeholder Council.
